I came across this wonderful vintage wallpaper, which looks like a streak of rain is falling between these two stylish gals. The ladies are from the pages of 1950's Mademoiselle.

This collage is all about Tippi. Most of the imagery

y is from a Look Magazine profiling the new star. I wanted to create tension and sense of danger evoking "The Birds" while still keeping it my voice. I'm pretty happy with this one. It's 11" x 14".

Here's one of my smaller collages-- that waist, I can imagine the grip of her girdle. This is the wonderful mid-1950's. The gal is from the pages of Mademoiselle.

Petite Collage

I've been obsessed with doing collage lately. The focused concentration needed to cut happy housewives serving food out of 50's magazines has been all consuming. So has the search for the perfect thrift store frame to feature my lovely ladies. As soon as i figure it out I'll be posting my little souvenirs of past eras. I think most of them reflect the essence of my personality.
